Evita Historical Tour (4 hours)
The very best way to learn about Eva Peron and Peronism. Beloved by many, you will experience her evolution from a poor small town girl to Argentine Icon. It’s been 70 years since Evita died, but her legacy is still alive, today more than ever. Plaza de Mayo Square, Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), CGT (General Confederation of Labour), Eva Peron Foundation, Recoleta Cemetery (Evita’s gravesite) and Evita Museum, are just some of the landmarks we will visit. Free time to explore some of the many Evita-themed food places in town.
Colonia del Sacramento / Uruguay (Full Day)
Across the river, just one hour away from Buenos Aires by ferry, this charming old Portuguese/Spanish town is perfect for a guided walking tour. Walking down its cobblestone streets, visit the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament, the Lighthouse, the colorful Calle de los Suspiros (Street of Sighs), the ancient Citadel Gate, among many other city highlights. Easy to stroll around, a few hours is enough to enjoy Colonia Historic District. Spend some free time exploring the many craft shops and nice local cafes and restaurants.
Other great places we can add to any of our tours
